About

Like most middle-aged Americans, I live a series of profiles more than having a specific identity.  After spending 20 years in organizations, ranging from very small to very large, I have worked since 1998 as an independent consultant, under the title of President, InterConnections, LLC (www.interconnectionsllc.com) .  Most of this work involves organizational change and leadership.  I also stay involved in teaching through affiliations with Saybrook Graduate School and Research Center (www.saybrook.edu), the Bhavan-Marshall MBA program in Bangalore, India ( http://www.bhavan-marshall.org/), and other opportunties as they arise.  I combine my teaching and consulting roles through work for the Federal Executive Institute (http://www.leadership.opm.gov/).  Beginning July 2007, I serve a one-year term as the President of the International Society for the Systems Sciences (www.isss.org) and continue as a vice president for the Internation Federation for Systems Research (www.ifsr.org).

I live with my wife, Teri, and younger son, Stephen, in the small town of Ashland, KY.  Our older son, Daniel, is a senior at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN.
